I’ve really been catching up on the books people have been telling me to read for years.
Freakonomics was definitely thought provoking. My only negative comment would be that Levitt and Dubner tended to say the same things in different ways over and over. Which I understand was to try and help people get the argument they were making but it got a little annoying after a while.
my brother in-law, who by the way is the only (well, almost) person who leaves comments on my tumblr cannot stop talking about this book. he read it pretty early on and much of it stuck. i have to read it… nick, i’m talking to you. bring it tomorrow!
