World's Oldest Dog Dies At 21...Or 147

A wire-haired dachshund that held the record as the world’s oldest dog has died on Long Island at age 21 – or 147 in dog years.

Chanel (shah-NEHL’) died Friday of natural causes at her owners’ home in Port Jefferson Station, a village 50 miles east of New York City.
