U.S.  college basketball’s tallest player is 7-foot-8 and from England
Mountain  State’s 7’ 8” junior Paul Sturgess is the tallest college basketball  player in the country. His team knocked off Bacone in the first round at  the NAIA National Championship on Wednesday, March 17, 2010, at  Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City, Missouri.
