Wait, weren’t the 2010 elections supposedly about the economy and jobs? How does legislation like this help the “job creators” we’ve heard so much about recently? 

Social conservatives are still a powerful force, no matter the economy, because they are loyal voters. So when we hear blather about how they’ve been marginalized, facts like this prove that premise false. If Texas Gov. Rick Perry jumps in this race, watch out! And I don’t just mean the Republican nomination.
